We meet every Tuesday via Google Meet. The week ahead, we will send everyone a few questions to think about along with their reading for the week. This is not an assignment, but more of a convo starter between you and the Word. If this interests you, check out the FAQs and fill out the form below!

We meet, like a house church, every 3rd Saturday of the month. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided for all who RSVP! At the in-person study, we will be on a different topic/lesson than the weekly online study. We will share those details ahead of time! FAQ

Will we actually study the Bible on this bible study?

Yes! While books and devotionals are nice resources to supplement our studies, we believe that nothing tops the verse-by-verse studying of scripture.

We choose a book in the Bible and read that book from start to finish. We are usually able to cover one chapter per week in our Online Study.

Men and women go to the same study?

Yep. When we started out we each led separate men’s and women’s studies. We were able to clearly see that our studies weren’t gender-focused, they were Word-focused. And the Word applies to everyone.

So, the more the merrier.

What age group?

Currently, our study has had a range of 19-46 years of age. Again, the Word is for everyone, at all ages and walks of life, so the barriers of age and race drop at these studies!

How many people can come to the online study?

We’re thinking that once we have 20 people consistently coming, we may begin to mute the larger group for clarity and organization. If that’s the case then 500 can join…

We will ask God about this if that time comes 🙂 

How many people can come to the in-person study?

This is hosted in our home currently. We have had 30 people here at one time, and I think that is the limit.

If we reach capacity limits, we will look into other venues.

Is there childcare for in-person study?

For now, children usually hang out and watch a movie with our children, while toddlers usually just stay with their parents in the study group.

If the study grows beyond this capacity, we could all pitch in for a sitter for these monthly meet-ups.

How do you choose who can come to the study?
  1. First, we will want you to fill out the form above to describe why you want to join. This is the first step of determining who is serious and who is spamming.
  2. If we determine your intentions are good, one of us will call you. Michael will call the men, Larissa will call the women. (Get to know us here.)
  3. If we are good to go then, you will be sent a Google Meet link for online, and if in-person is of interest to you (and you’re in the Cincinnati area) we will add you to our chat for those details.
Do you discuss politics at your study?
NO! We are studying the Word of God, and neither Trump nor Biden will be found in there. So let’s leave that at home.
